Watch stopping often when asleep

I am happy with the looks of the watch. I like the weight and heft of the watch. My main concern has been that the watch has often stopped whilst I've been asleep at night. It doesn't do it every night. I do not take it off at night but sleep with it on my wrist. In fact it hasn't really been off my wrist for any length of time. So I think the reserve on the wind mechanism has not been tested. I have as yet to immerse the watch in water at all. It has gotten wet with splashes only. I have yet been in the water with it. I haven't even worn it in the shower. The water/sea test will happen when the weather is warmer or I'm abroad on holiday. I have reported the problem with the watch stopping and the response was an e-mail advising me to manually turn the watch in a clockwise direction 20-40 times through a presume a 12/24hr cycle. This I have done and will monitor it for the next 14 days. The only other thing I have noticed is that the watch seems to lose between 1 & 2 minutes a day. Again this I'm monitoring due to the problems with the watch stopping intermittently at night. If it continues on this trend I shall be again seeking redress. I do not really think a brand new watch should be losing that amount of time.

Heavy in the right places

Great watch. I have had trouble breaking this watch. Most watches get destroyed with me. They get dunked in petrol, diesel, oil, and MANY other solvents. Seems to be doing okay.

4.5 Stars

Almost Perfect - This is a beautiful, well-designed and well-built dive watch at a great price. I have only two complaints, the first of which is minor:

(1) The bezel rotates too easily, so it gets knocked off its setting with an light bump.

(2) The watch is advertised as having a 47mm case, which is the perfect size as far as I’m concerned, but this one is smaller than my other 47mm watches, for example the 47mm Invicta Grand Diver in the 2nd photo (blue-green dial). The Ratio FreeDiver is even smaller than my 45mm Aragon Divemaster TI (white dial). Perhaps the bezel doesn’t go all the way to the edge of the case, making it appear smaller. Whatever the reason, I took off a half-star for it.

Overall, this is a handsome, accurate and reliable timepiece I would recommend to anyone. Just be aware it is not as large as you might think.

Very impressive watch.

Well, what can I say. I love good quality, diver watches for many years. I am usually a Seiko or Citizen watch buyer. I just got, today the Ratio FreeDive 1000M and I have to say, damn.....!!! Very impressive watch. Its the right size, good quality built for the money, the Silicon band is very nicely done. The watch is super comfortable and I will say again, I don't know why we don't see thousands of reviews!!!! I just hope this watch will survive daily, one hour swimming, 6 days a week.
