Luminescence
Ratio uses non-radioactive luminescent paint for the luminescence in the Freediver 1000m watch. It is a non-radioactive, radiant paint that's applied generously on the hands and the indices of the Freediver. The paint exhibits greater intensity and longer-lasting luminescence. Its output duration doesn’t let you compromise on visibility; let it even be for a few extra hours in the dark! A 10-minute long exposure to 500 lux or higher intensity light will charge the lume for the next 3-5 hours.
A continuous 8-hour exposure to Sunlight on a normal summer day will let it glow for 10+ hours. The longevity of the paint is semi-permanent, ensuring full functionality of the watch even after years of active use.

I am extremely impressed with this watch. I would pit this against my Tag Heuer and Omega’s any day. It is just the right size and weight. It has incredible lume. Sapphire Crystal and a solid and proven Seiko automatic NH36 movement. At 100 bar water resistance who could ask for more? $200 it is cheaper than the maintenance on my luxury brands. Great watch for the money.
A well finished case, bezel, dial (sunray not matte) strap, a Seiko automatic movement, 1 km WR an amazing price; it is a solid five star rating. Adequate wrist presence comfortable to wear too. Perhaps I would have preferred the green a shade darker, but still the colour is good.
